The Fiebre de Golf Tournament: Passion, history, and a uniform that set a trend

In the Dominican Republic, talking about golf means talking about Félix Olivo, to some... Mr. Golf. For decades, Félix has been one of the main promoters of this sport in the country, creating tournaments and unforgettable experiences for clients and brands. But just three years ago, he decided to take his passion to another level: the Fiebre de Golf Tournament was born, under the seal of his own brand.

An edition with special meaning

The most recent edition was held at Dye Fore course in Casa de Campo, a world-class setting that provided the backdrop for an unforgettable event. In addition, it coincided with a very important milestone: the 15th anniversary of the Fiebre de Golf website, the digital platform through which Félix has shared his vision and passion with the entire golf community.

The uniform that told Félix’s story

For this occasion, we wanted to pay tribute not only to golf but also to Félix’s life. The official uniform became the true protagonist of the tournament, with a design created to capture his essence.

The Augusta green, one of the most iconic colors in world golf, was the foundation. From there, symbols deeply tied to Félix’s life were incorporated:

  • Harley Davidson and Vespa motorcycles, representing his passion for speed.

  • Cigars, drinks, and his golf trips around the world, symbols of the pleasures of life.

  • And an icon of a famous monument in Azua, honoring his roots and homeland.

The result was a piece that went beyond aesthetics: it became the talk of the tournament and a symbol of pride for all participants.

More than just a tournament

The Fiebre de Golf Tournament is not just a competition. It is a space where passion for the sport is celebrated, the contributions of those who have helped it grow in the country are recognized, and a community is created around a single shared fever: golf.

Oh, and Jaca and I (Gabo) won second place in the B category. Not bad at all. ;)
